I have a 1972 Evinrude 25hp model #25253R. I have just replaced the points,plugs,condersers,and coils. I can not tell which connection the two wires that come from the bottom of the magneto plate and connect to the harness.

Does it matter which connection you plug it into? And if it does, how can you tell which one goes where????
