Default 1988 110hp starting issues

I have done many things to my motor but continue to have issues with starting. Currently nothing happens when turning the key. The tilt still has power to raise the motor up and down but turning the key does not activate the starter. The starter has been sticking causing me to engage the starter to fly wheel and motor would start. As of now I cannot even get the starter to spin. I need help as I would like to start using the boat. thanks

Sounds like it's time for a rebuild or a new starter. Pull it of and take it to Napa, I think they can check it on the bench.

Thank God, it's usually the stupid things that cause the problem. Glad that you have it up and running. Fish away
