1978 150 hp evinrude idle probs

Hi yall!
I have a 78 evi that has been sitting for a year. I wanted to get it going so I dropped some fuel additive in the tank, and fired her up.....only to find she will run like a top on mid/high idle but anything lower and she dies. Coincidently she is very hard to start also? I have two new batteries so no probs there, I am going to ***ume I need to check the carb bowls? Any and all help would be appreciated

I ran my 90 BHP last year and took her out the water, flushed her through with fresh water. then parked her up in the drive...

went back to start her up - link tilt okay engine spins as if starting

but no spark to new plug set...elec feeds to cd player okay and bilges pumps

she wont fire up ....

any suggestions

Sounds like your carburetors require repair. Remove them and throughly clean them.

It won't turn over or just won't start.
