Drive Shaft Query - 1972 65hp

Can anybody help?

I have a 1972 65hp Evinrude Model 65273S. I need to replace the drive shaft (Blowout No.39 on gearcase diagram, OEM Part No.0385087). All the sites I have looked at refer to the part as a "Shaft ***embly". I suspect this means there is more than one component involved.

Can anybody tell me exactly what comprises this ***embly, in particular, whether any bearings are included?
