For replacing impeller, I want to detach the gearcase but the shiftrod is hindering from doing it. Please teach me a best way to seperate shiftrod from the gearcase. Thank you.

Unfortunately I cannot teach you, however the shift shaft retainer is located below the carburetors.

I believe there is a 3/8 or 7/16 head bolt below the carburetors or fuel injection air butterflies that you remove and it releases the shift rod. It is easy to do.
