Post 1972 9.5 evinrude sportwin rewind starter
i am needing to know how to set the tension on the rewind starter?i just replaced the rewind starter pulley (why it is plastic makes no sense).please respond ASAP thank you very much.how many turns on the tension screw do i need?

There is no direct answer. Hook the spring, spin couple of times without winding rope. Then wind rope.
