1975 evinrude 55hp

I have a 1985 JC Pontoon. 24' in Length. I am wondering if a 1975 EVINRUDE 55HP NO POWER TRIM would be a good motor for my boat. It has a 1985 70HP Which is no good anymore. Looking for a cheap motor it has 150PSI In both cylinders. Let me know.

It really depends on your uses. If you do not use power trim and all you want to do is slowly cruise around, then it will do the job.

I dont plan on going for speed. It will still have enough UMPHHH to get me going decently fast to get from one point to another in a decent amount of time though?
