1999 90 hp ficht loss of top end
From every thing I have read it looks like my throttle position sensor is bad. Ohm check between the gray and green wires shows an open circuit at about 1/4 throttle then picks back up. The guage did not flash any codes with TPS hooked up, however when I removed it and put it at WOT it flashes a 14,81,12,and 26. Engine seems to run fine below 2500rpm then the check engine light comes on and it wont run over 3500. If i restart and throttle up quickly the check engine light doesnt come on but it still wont run over 3500 rpm. Any help would be appreciated greatly!
