1978 evinrude 70hp need more power

I am running a 1978 three cylinder 2-stroke 70 hp evinrude with power tilt/trim on my 1979 Hydra-sports 16ft 158vee b*** boat. the engine runs great smooth at idle and at top end. I am running a 10and1/2 inch pitch prop and the engine runs at about 5500 rpm at top speed of about 38 mph on calm water. the engine hours are relitively low and all cylinders have good compression. are there any performance parts around that will increase horse power ( I want to soup it up! ) I would like it to come out of the hole a bit quicker and I want a bit more top end speed. Are there any performance carbs, reeds or air boxes that will boost HP.

Unfortunately because of the year, there are no performance part that I am aware of. Your best option is to google performance outboard parts. You may get lucky.
