Default 1974 25 hp jumps out of gear #25403m
i have a 1974 25 hp motor that runs very well , but when i throttle it up, it jumps out off gear , if i hold gear lever in forward it will stay in gear partially , what do i need to do to fix this??

Sounds like you will need to remove the lower unit and dis***emble. I am uncertain what parts you will need to replace.
