Oil pump replacement - E-tec 2007

I have a 90hp e-tec 2007, (model number E90DSLSUA), which needs a new oil pump, the current part number is 5007254 but I have heard that the 2008 onwards oil pump, (part number 5007588), is better and would like to buy that one. The only problem is I need to know if the new oil pump comes with the software to update/reprogramme the EMM. I live in New Zealand so returning a product is expensive so if anyone can advise, Thanks, Tony

Only a dealer can reprogramme the EMM. I recommend replacing with the factory pump.

Thanks, I'l be getting a dealer to fit the part, (he recommended using the newer model but spoke of needing the software to reprogram the EMM), but I just want to be sure the software comes with it, Tony
