Default 2004 200 water temp alarm

I am having a high water temperature issue with a 2004 200 DFI. the water temp alarm only comes in at higher RPM 2500 or above then the engine goes into SLOW. The light clears after a few minutes of idle speed. I have replaced the high temp switch and the pressure valve. The water pump has been replaced and there is strong indicator stream. I would like to solve this before I winterize the Engine. The code from the alarm is 22 or starboard side temperature switch (no codes from the port side). Should I replace the thermostat on the starboard side.

Have you check your starboard thermostat?

Default Problem is fixed

The grommet at the top of the water pump was placed in the wrong way, upside down for this Engine causing a blockage of water flow.
