Default What is correct '97 Ficht motor oil?

What is the correct outboard motor oil to use?

1997 Evinrude 175 HP FICHT Ocean Pro (oil injected)

The man that sold the used motor said Evinrude XD-50. Is that correct?

If XD-50 is not available should I use XD-30 or XD-100? These are all Evinrude labeled oils.

(Remember me? I am in Guatemala and you helped me diagnose an ignition module problem. A new module got the motor running fine but now Guatemala seems to be out of XD-50. Help, what oil do I use)?

I don't know about XD-100.
You can run XD-30.
I run XD-50.
XD-50 has a higher viscosity so it is generally better for running at WOT and pulling skier and tuber.
XD-30 is thinner and will work, but may start to break down if you're running for extended periods of time at higher RPM's. I have used it in my engine before and nothing went wrong. XD-50 offers me better protection for what I do.
