I have read a lot about these engines all with the same problems but have not found a fix. Mine misses about 3200 to 3800 rpm. I have no warning lights or buzzers coming on. The engine runs and idles excellent except for that power range. I have had this engine on my pontoon boat for 2 years and it has always done this. Any help greatly appreciated.
We don't have any experence with the Ficht engines we became a dealer after the E-tec came out. You might get it checked with diagnostic program to see if any fault codes are activated.
