Default evinrude 25 opinion
Hello everyone, I have an opinion question for you, I have an evinrude 25 hp on a 15.5 ft lowe aluminum boat, it runs well but doesn't do well getting up on plane. I've been told a hydrofoil would help some, has anyone had any experience with these and are they worth bothering with on a small motor like this? your opinions would be appreciated, thanks.

Hydro-foils may help, they are designed to improve planing. You may consider changing prop size.

Well it depends on what RPM you are currently running, the loaded weight of your boat. What is your current propellers pitch and diameter?
