taterhead has a 175hp.issue!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 1992 evinrude 175 intruder,spitfire series and it seems to start and run fine on initial start-up but after awhile of running around i shut it down for awhile to fish an when i restart it,it fires rite away but will stall out once i put it in gear unless i bump the choke an press on hotfoot to get going.seems to do this worse in hot weather too.have cleaned carbs.twice and replaced bubble twice. any ideas on problem are greatly appreciated.

After you repaired the carburetors, did you link, sync and adjust them?

Im not sure but i ***ume th mechanic who is OMC tech.did.maybe we need to explore that avenue.another mech.said that maybe th timing is alittle off ? I have noticed alittle more motor vibration than i thought i would have but its not very noticeable.this motor is on a 389 javelin.my wot rpms are 4800-5000@63mph.gps. with 2 people. seems like th rpms should b alittle higher wouldnt u think? prop is a 24p.raker.

Its hard to say, 24p is a large pitch for a 175. You can try dropping the pitches.
