Default Oil leaking - Evinrude 1986 50 hp (VRO model, but disconnected)

Hi,

Re-conditioning an Evinrude 50 VRO with the VRO disconnected. The engine wa laid up and ceased up, but managed to free it up, get her going, but there is leakage from the lower end of the crank case?

Any input would be welcome.

Paul

Default Water in crankcase

It looks like there is water in the crank, is the block cracked if so, or is there a seal that is gone somewhere that can be repaired? Thanks.

The block can have a crack, you will need to take to a machine shop to verify.
