80's model V6 200hp have to prime to get plained out

When you first kick the boat into gear you have to keep pumping the primer to get the boat almost plained out then it runs fine . i was wondoring if anybody has any idea what i can do to fix this problem. this only happens when your ideling or trying to get up and go

Probably need to remove and clean carb, probably plugged up.
