Having some engine trouble on this one, it starts fine, but runs real rough at idle, runs great at WOT. I replaced the fuel pump and it didnt help. It wants to hiccup and cough at idle speed and shutdown. very difficult to get into gear before it shuts off......any advice.

The carb could have a little junk in it but it sounds like the begining of my problem. My 71 18 hp was doing that and i R&R the reeds the fuel pump i rebult the carb and put new points in it. Is it flooding on one cylinder?
