  • 2004 2 stroke 200 hp Engine wont start

The engine was runing greate, the boat was park for 3 years, i fix the EMM and change the water pump Kit, 2 tines go out and start and runs perfect, the 3 time start perfect in the morning, go out for 20 minutes, stop on a friends house and when i was about to live the engine never starts again, does any one knows what could it be????

i allready check: fuel, fuel pump, oil, oil level, and the dashboard dont show any warning light.

the starter is working and the engine is turning but never start.

    thanks for your help.

      ignition

showld i check just like a car, unplog a spark plug wire and insert a srew driver against theh block or pull out the entire spark plug and ground against the block.

about the water, i allready drain the fuel filter and was ok, what i have missing is check the flywheel sensor.

          chiquipompi wont start properly

Here is the update of the problem.

first thing is that the wire that sends ground to the starter solenoid is not geting ground so i jump wire direct to the engine ground, but need to know were to look for this wire to make it ground properly again.

about wont start this is what i did.
check for codes and dont shows any one, change EMM, capasitor, change stator, change starter, change spark plugs , check for spark and is ok, the softwere shows on the lap top that the injectors are not reciving enough voltage, is reciving 9 volts, but we try this, if i poor just a little of fuel on one cilinder the engine starts perfect, but if i turn engine off it wont start again and i have to poor fuel on a cilinder again to start it again.

what sould i check or change .

          thanks.

Need to have 55 volt circuit tested as well as fuel pressure test.

              Wont start

The EMM was sent to SEA POWER INC in Miami FL and they check the EMM on other boats and they asure me that the emm is perfect.

so i dont know where to look , what could couse that the voltage is low if i allready change, bateries, capasitor, stator, park plugs.

you have any idea what else to check, rely´s, spesific wire, and also why the wire that gives ground to the starter solenoid is not geting ground??

look on you tube the video named evinrude engine wont start properly so you can have an idea.

thanks a lot for the help.

Need to have 55 volt circuit tested as well as fuel pressure test, this needs to be done by an authorized dealer.

                  engine wont start

The problem is that there is not Evinrude dealer in Cancun, the only one is in Guadalajara Mexico and is 24 hour trip, also dont know why the fuel line does not have the preasure test orifice, you know ifis in a diferent place??? about the 55 vol, what could be the caouse, you where able to watch the video???

and were to look for the ground problem on the starter solenoid.

                  thanks.

Then need to get a factory service manual for your model number and follow steps for testing for 55 volt circuit and test diodes in harness for starter relay circuit.

                        wont start

In the time been you can tell me where are located the diods, because that manual is going to take 1 or 2 weeks to get to cancun, or some to start.

                        thanks.
