1993 evinrude 150
I have a 1993 evinrude 150 intruder. Starts great, runs great. It has started a bump @ 4,000 to 5,400 RPM like it looses fuel or fire for a split second, then continues on. No noticeable loss of power/speed. Thanks for any help !!

Check wire connections on coils and ground wire connections, look for corroded or loose connections. -

I checked coil connects and grounds, cleaned and tightened.no change. Any other suggestions ? ThanksComment

It's not easy to find a problem like that and might would be better to take it to a dealer. You would need a peak reading voltmeter to test ignition components and do test while running engine at range it is missing to find problem.Comment
