    Wire Color code for instruments ***istance E70

    I have Evinrude E70FTLEE (should be E70pl4ee and is actually Rebranded Suzuki DF70TLX).

    I need to know the color codes on the harness for the engine system signal wires & tach:
    tach
    rpm
    oil
    temp
    check engine
    (ground should be black and ignition + should be purple)

    The OMC evinrude service manual does not have this info. Info on what manual does have this info is appreciated too.

    Tried to attach a chart with wire colors. I believe yours should be the same as OMC, manufacturer of Johnson & evinrude. Hope it comes through?

      The print on the JPG is blurry when I enlarged. Does this look accurate?:

      CIRCUIT OMC
      12v pwr - Red
      Ign sw pwr - Purple
      Ground - black
      Stop engine - (black-brown)/yellow
      Start engine - Yellow/red
      Tach - Grey
      Charge battery - Yellow / grey yellow
      Choke - Purple/white
      Warning temp - Tan tan/blue
      Trim up - Blue
      Trim down - Green
      Stator (ign coil) - Brown brown/yellow brown/orange
      Pulse coils1 - Purple or violet
      Pulse coils2 - Green
      Pulse coils3 - Blue
      Pulse coils4 - White

      The OEM dash side harness has a White(Blue stripe) and White(tan stripe) coupled with purple. I would expect one of those are for trim & ?
