    1982 35 hp runs rough wot

    It states and runs great lower speeds. When I opens the throttle, it falls on its nose and to get it to run I have to pu the choke out.

    Clean and rebuild the carburetor... it's fouled.

        The high speed jet that's located horizontally way in back of the float chamber drain screw.... in the bottom center of the float chamber... clean it carefully with a piece of single strand wire as solvent just doesn't do that job properly.

          It turned out to be two problems.
          1. The high speed jet was causing it to need the choke out to get full throttl
          2. The motor jumping was caused by it jumping out of gear.

          The high sport jet and seat were replaced.
          The lower end was rebuilt.

          Runs great
