Remove VRO Pump and Replace with Reg. pump
I have 1992 115 HP Evinrude motor. What fuel pump do I need to replace VRO pump and pump mixed gas. I know how do disconnect VRO but would like to put A regular pump on even if I have to make my own bracked

I have replaced VRO pumps on the 3 cyl & V-4 engines using the #0438556 fuel pump and made a bracket to mount it to. I drilled the mounting holes and pulse p***age into the bracket and threaded a br*** elbow into it for a pulse fitting. You could try the #438559 pump which has the pulse fitting built into it, but may starve for fuel on top end.
If your VRO pump is still pumping you can cap off the oil side with a vacuum cap, disconnect the wiring, oil lines and oil tank and run premix until it fails then convert over cheaply.
