Just picked up a 1995 70hp long shaft, when we ran it in the driveway it was in neutral we never put it in gear everything was good, I went to winterize it and had it in gear, I shut it down and saw clean lube honey color coming out of the square or rectangular plate on the starboard side (I think) this plate has 4 1/4 inch bolts holding it and there is a plate on the other side of the housing, it looks like lower unit lube but that lube should never leave the lower gear unit and get into the spacer area correct what might be wrong
