Hello,
I've an OMC Cobra SX outdrive and I've to repaint it.
For some parts I used already the BRP EVINRUDE JOHNSON spraypaint with really good results. After the primer I aplicated the spraypaint and now I'm guessing if I've to add an additional coat of clearcoat. The surface is already smooth and glossy.
Do I need the clearcoat?
I just painted the plastic parts with nice results yet. Now I want to paint the outdrive itself and I know that aluminium needs a special primer, but I don't know if etch primer is enough or if I have to cover the etch primer with epoxy primer.
It would be very nice, if somebody can give me some help.
