Hi all, I have a Johnson 140 V4 that is having drive issues. When I put full throttle to get out of the hole, the motor overspeeds and goes nowhere. If I ease into it and get on plane it runs fine. I suspected lower drive issues so removed the lower leg. 2 questions:
1. Am I on the right track for this problem ? I see no metal filings yet ? Could this slip be something else?
2. How do you remove the driveshaft ? Have everything removed to the thrust bearing but can't get the shaft to come out?
