10% Alcohol gas problems?

I have a 1998 Evinrude Fitch with low hours. Runs great, then shuts down. The prime blub goes soft. Replaced Blub, Fuel Filter and Gas caps.

It was recommend to replace fuel lines because of using gas with 10% alcohol.

Any suggestions?

Try pumping bulb when motor begins to shut off, if it stays running you are have a fuel supply problem. (fuel pump, sucking air, etc)

Will a computer be able to tell if the problem is the Fuel Pump or a deterring fuel line or what?

The computer will not show fuel related issues, unless the fuel injector is shorting out (not completing circuit). You can put a fuel pressure guage, that should tell you if you are loosing fuel pressure.
