Stator/ flywheel replaced. ECU from port engine will not run fuel pump on stb engine. Wonder if it’s power dist box. Previous owner had trouble with them

Had a good power dist box , put that in , nothing. Jumped fuel pump it runs. We removed the can/pump to clean it. The main 70 amp relay is getting hot .

Now the starter is not engaging. Removed the pinon gear cleaned but it will not engage flywheel. Grinds on bottom of flywheel. Is there something in the gear part like rollers or clutch?

Need to load test battery, if test good then load at battery cables on engine to make sure cables are good, if all that will load test 10 volts or higher then replace starter, may solve all the problems.

Batt are new on charger in boat. I don’t know what’s inside the pinon gear. We cleaned it but it sounds like it’s grinding on its self.

Put new pinion gear in now motor turns over. I think we traced the fuel pump problem to the power distribution panel. Voltage on one relay socket bot no voltage on the other. Should have voltage on both sockets.
