mechanic says i need a pwrpack, on a 1996 evinrude 150 but he say to use the new blue ones i have to make several changes. Isthis true?

and check phamplet inside box you may then be looking for what we are a phase 2 rotor not a phase1 which will be same problem we have no one has a 2

TE90TLEND power pack replacement

I just replaced the power pack on my TE90TLEND. The engine still acts like it is not getting fire. What do I need to check next?

Check it with timing light to see if is firing.

Check your trigger outputs with a DVA meter. If the trigger is not working properly then the pp will not work either.
