Fuel leak from plastic red valve pressure valve -can I byp***?

Hi there 1996 Evinrude Edeler 115... when I turn the engine over I have fuel leaking from the red valve which I believe checks fuel pressure. Engine won’t run ...I’m stranded out on the river ...Is there a way that I can byp*** this somehow? Thanks for any help...

the red red valve part number is 0175158 -

Sorry forgot to mention that the red piece has a hairline fracture in it…

You are probably talking about the fuel primer valve which is the choke, you can cap ,out fuel line going to primer from carb and it wont affect the way engine runs just will be hard to start when engine is cold.

Awwwome thank you... it fires up and ran like a champ this morning ... no idea why... not going to do anything just yet but I’m case i think I have traced the hose back to the carb on the starboard side of the engine...? Thanks again
