I recently bought a mid-70's Glastron with the E90TLC1M and I know nothing about maintaining it. Runs like a dream but I suspect there should be some sort of lower gearcase lubricating required....but I can't find any lower grease nipple or plug for lubing. I would like to know how to do this before I take her out again. Thanks ! Greg

Every engine I have had has 2 screws on the lower unit ..one down low and one above it. Drain the old gear case fluid (first lower screw then top screw to allow air in to drain). Check this fluid for contaminants such as water (will be milky) and others. Buy new gear case lube and the correct pump. Screw pump hose into lower screw hole and fill till it flows out the top screw hole. Seal top screw ...remove pump and seal then you are good to go...
