  • Just bought a 1985 VRO 120

It hasn't run in several years. The guy I got it from said he drained all the gas and sea foamed it, prior to putting it in storage. He had one head loose and gave me a new head gasket-said he never got the time to change it. The motor looks very good for it's age, but I'm going at this with caution. I removed the head and cleaned everything up. I installed the gasket and put the head on loosely. I need torque specs if anyone knows what they are. My question to you guys are where do I go next?? I put new plugs in and I have a new battery. Should I just give her some fresh gas and see what happens??
This VRO pump is something else I'm not too sure about-maybe some of you can educate me on that. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

      torque

18-20ft lbs each. Follow the number pattern on the head. I usually tighten them to 10ft lbs each then a second round to 20. But that's just me.
