I have a 2008 115 ETEC that runs fine while on the ear muffs but as soon as the foot is submerged it quits running. It seems like the water pressure is making it foul plugs. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Since 1960..... The only time I would experience that problem would be if the idle was set too low OR although one thought the engine was running fine... it was not ie cylinder low on compression, no fuel or spark to a cylinder, something of that nature. -
I am afraid it might be low compression. It seems to be fouling #1 and #4 cylinder. I am gonna have to take it to a ETEC shop. I have pretty much exhausted my limited resources.Comment

I also have a 2008 115 etec, runs fine on ear muffs, but in water will not go to full throttle, sounds like its bogging down at around 2900 rpmsComment
