    Yeah..... trying to start a cold engine without pushing the key in to engage the fuel primer solenoid would be difficult.

    Think of the fuel primer solenoid as an electric choke and use it accordingly.

      ***, now I know what that is, lol. I knew it had something to do with starting. I was actually amazed that the carbs allowed fuel through to start. I think I cleaned the carbs last season but I can't remember. I am just glad it started. I have 3 or 4 muffs, but all in the storage unit, so I guess I will buy another pair, lol. I will keep you guys posted. I am pretty sure I will probably have spark problems again, but at least I think I know what part of it is now, the control connection at the engine.
