Evinrude VRO Pump Prob, which part I need ?

Hi

I have Evinrude engine, Year 1998, 150, 6V

I have problem with VRO pump, my engine moving well and after few mins the RPM go down, specially if the RPM up 4k, after few mins it go 2/2.5k.

I opened the pump, I didn't see any parts damage inside, but as I said, the speed go down after few mins.

I don't know which part I need, 0435921 or 0436095,

OMC quit selling individual parts several years ago due to problems related to housing distortion creating fuel/oil/air leakage.

Unfortunately, the VRO from OMC is now over $600. A few aftermarket companies still sell individual parts and repair kits for the VRO if you feel like taking a chance with a powerhead.

I've converted a few V6 engines back to the 2 pulse fuel pump system like they ran prior to the VRO system which worked out well. Only drawback was having to pre-mix fuel & oil (which I prefer).
