Urgent please Evinrude connecting rod outer peace broken

Hi can someone please help me i have a 1997 Evinrude 55 hp outboard.The connecting rod the outer small peace that bolts down the connection rod the bolt hole is broken.Can I just replace the outer small peace or do i have to change the complete connecting rod urgent please ?

Unfortunately the connecting rods are cast in one piece... then with precise machinery, the bottom half, most commonly called the "cap" is broken away. This results in the cap fitting only that specific connecting rod... and no other will do.

Bottom line is that you need to replace the complete connecting rod.
