Check compression, try the manual choke, check that there is gas getting in carb.

        90johnson problems

        I have an 1982 johnson 90.
I have replaced stator, new powerpack.New battery.Cleaned carbs out.No rebuilt but cleaned out.had it fired up a few times now it seems like it doesn't want to fire.I have 95psi on all four cyclinders.I have fire on all four cylinder.

My question is .If there is water getting in the fuel somewhere in the motor. For example gasket or something.Would that weaken the fuel so it wouldn't fire.

it seems to be water leaking from up under one of the cyclinders??? any suggestions

If you see water on spark plugs then have water in gas or leak inside engine between water jacket and combustion chamber. Check fuel for water in it.
